The NFL announced Monday that it will return to Mexico City's Estadio Azteca for a 2019 game despite this year's canceled contest.

The NFL still had a game to go on its three-game Mexico contract and remains bullish on growing the league south of the border. We would assume this year's fiasco will lead to much more vigilant planning on the NFL's part for 2019. The who and when will be announced at a later date.

are they still playing tonight? thats a long plane ride back to LA to play. Perhaps they can just cancel the game, or sit Jared Goff and Robert Woods. My fantasy team will be very thankful.

The reason the field was such a mess is because all of Mexico's landscapers live in the US.
