The sticky gloves that NFL players have started wearing may soon be under investigation. One executive even said that with the advancement in the gloves they will soon be able to catch the ball without a hand in them. Lots of former players are saying that the gloves provide an unfair advantage to today's players. ODB's miraculous catch last season was said to be impossible without the aid of said gloves.

Either way the gloves are just this generations stickum. Unless they make a rule that you can only use bare hands unadulterated with any type of foreign substance or material then there will always be something used.


What is funny to me is all the fuss about gloves and socks and facemasks but no one seems to ever talk about the fact that many players don't wear pads in their pants. They always wanna talk 'player protection' but when it comes down to it they couldn't care less.
