actually, if he goes for cheap, he could fill the role of Sproles pretty easily.

Mistake made was to expect him to be an every down back. Miami got wise quickly and let him go, as did the saints, he can be a great change of pace and special teams player on the cheap.

Funny, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title.

If he would accept a 3rd down role and a cap friendly contract, I think it would be an excellent move for the Saints. He is still a good receiver.
