Coming at you
A lot of talk about Antonio Brown wanting to play for SF. Most fans seem against it due to his baggage, BUT if it happened and everyone was healthy, that could be an offensive juggernaut. Garoppolo, McKinnon, Breida, Brown, Goodwin, Pettis, Kittle and a decent O line. Would be fun to watch.

With a little luck (mainly good health), this team could make a Chicago Bears type turn around in 2019. Defense has talent but they lack an edge (with the 2nd pick, they could end up with Bosa or Allen), an inside linebacker (Sean Lee would be a nice 1 or 2 year option) and a safety (Earl Thomas reuniting with Sherman). Another outside corner opposite Sherman is needed as well, but hopefully Witherspoon can shake off a horrible 2018 and play to the potential he showed in 2017 or last years 3rd rounder, Travarious Moore steps up. Williams and Reed are good slot CB options.

Can't wait for season to start.

That's the most unproven offensive juggernaut Ive ever seen. Brown is obviously elite, and Kittle is a stud. The rest though? Not a one of them has done anything meaningful in the league.

As a Giants fan, this bothers me. An absolute baseball cathedral being used for Raider games. Just not right.

Ian says:

The Oakland Raiders revealed their plans to play next season at Oracle Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants, earlier this week ahead of their 2020 move to Las Vegas.

That plan, however, appears to have been shut down.

The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday night that the 49ers are not expected to waive their territorial rights for San Francisco, which will prevent the Raiders from playing in the city next season.

Couple of things here.....
1) supposedly there was some kind of domestic issue with Brown recently - it was talked about on ESPN today - no idea of what or if it will be significant
2) There is a ton of chatter that SF will go after LeVeon Bell - if so, say goodbye to McKinnon and Brieda's value drops
3) Garoppolo by last report is already throwing the ball and putting weight on knee - they have hopes he may be ready for some work in OTAs

Yep they either pay the money to play at Levi Stadium or they play in Oakland. Those are their only options.

update 2/6/2019
- Tennessee plans to run Derrick Henry ALOT - they needed to do that anyway....
- Zach Taylor announced as HC in Cincy - some chatter in local area if they don't draft the QB of the future and maybe phase out Dalton - not sure what to think here....
- Cincy follow up - no DC as of yet, Jack Del Rio refused the interview - hmmmmm
- Nick Foles has voided his option on his contract - so officially he is an FA - but team COULD Tag him, but will still need to make cap room to tag him , to try and trade him. Not sure they can make enough cap room in time to tag him....
- Davenport DE Saints has had surgery on a toe issue - stated he played most of season with it
- Greg Olsen TE Car - says he will play next year
- Gurley rumors are still flying - per team he went through his post season physical - but no knee procedures are expected - so why was he used so little? Makes no sense
- Washington has had preliminary talks with A. Peterson
- okay further update on A.Brown of Pittsburgh - per reports shared with PFT - there was an incident a month ago in FL where Antonio was investigated but not arrested for domestic violence - his agent had denied any wrong doing - team released a statement they are still investigating. This along with the current law suit against Antonio for the incident where he supposedly threw furniture out the window of his 14th floor window and nearly hit a child and adult. Again, agent and Antonio has denied - but law suit is still active.

Oh please

-Anyone who watched Garoppolo knows he is a very good QB. He lost his starting RB right before the season started and both starting WRs in the first game and then tore his ACL. Kind of put a damper on his 2018 season
-Goodwin has elite speed and had a very good 2017 (just short of 1000 yards) playing with the likes of Hoyer and Beathard most of the season. He had injuries and family issues that derailed his 2018 season
-Breida had over 800 yards rushing and averaged 5.3 yards a carry. Very explosive player. Needs to have his touches limited due to size and running style but will be excellent part of a committee
-McKinnon is explosive and will thrive as a pass receiver is that offense

To say they have done nothing "meaningful" in the NFL shows you are either a hater of the 49ers or just haven't been paying attention.

update on Antonio Brown:
Per PFT, there is a report of Antonio pushing a woman who is the mother of his daughter in a fight over money for a hair appt. No charges were filed, and the woman has not filed a victim affidavit. However there was a reported wrist injury. NFL has just confirmed they will now investigate the situation as well.

Also, Derek Carr Qb of Oakland Raiders cap hit and salary for 2019 are now locked due to passing the third day of the new season. So if they trade him they will eat a ton of cap issues, or cut him for that matter.

None of what you just said matters. Short term, pie in the sky, high hopes talk. No actual proven players besides Kittle.

You can feel good about your squad, but they're not elite.

Update on Foles - It may be against the CBA for team to FT him. It clearly states that if a team is to apply the FT, they plan to keep that player, however, it has been made clear that FTing him in philly is to control where he goes and get pick compensation for him. The FT for Qb should be about $25 million, and the only way he can be traded is if he signs the tag. Bit costly to trade that contract.

In another NOT surprise - Antonio Brown WR Pit has formally requested a trade from Pittsbugh - can't happen until March, and his salary will be a barrier. Can't wait to see if Pittsburgh actually does this.

Uh oh, Kliff Kingsbury HC of Arizona sitting with the first pick of the draft has given his full support to Josh Rosen as his QB - We ALL know what that means.......trade him away to a Qb hungry team, and draft Kyler Murray?!?!?!?
